Overseas Workers Voices Uganda (OWVU)
Overseas Workers Voices Uganda (OWVU) is a frontline organisation working to protect Ugandan migrant workers from exploitation, abuse, and trafficking.
Founded by anti-human trafficking activist Mwiza Marriam, the organisation was established in response to the severe realities faced by Ugandans working abroad, particularly domestic workers in the Middle East. OWVU exists to ensure migrant workers are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect, not as disposable labour.
